Hello, my name is Tanya Farris. I am a dual licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician and Wedding Officiant in the state of Florida. I am a Florida Notary and Nationally certified by the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) and a member of ABMP & ASCP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals/ Associated Skin Care Professionals). With over 16 years experience, my background is very diverse in order to provide the best services possible.
I was born in Southern California and moved to Florida in 1996. I am a nurturer by nature and found that massage and esthetics was a natural place to be. I specialize in blending many different massage modalities and perform them with compassion and presence; all to meet my client’s specific requests. It is important for me as a therapist to listen to my clients and their needs.
I am often asked why I became a wedding officiant. Growing up and being exposed to different faiths, I became discouraged with organized religions, feeling they were limited, rigid and often not in line with who I was as a person. For me, spirituality is such a personal journey and often does not fit inside a one size fits all box. Over the years I have cultivated and inner sense of spirituality for myself and live by the golden rule. I personally had a beautifully spiritual wedding ceremony and from that day I knew that this would be part of my journey.
As your wedding officiant I promise to provide you with a soulful. spiritual and one of a kind wedding experience you will always remember. My goal is to help couples create a customized ceremony that reflects their relationship and focuses on their future commitment in marriage. I welcome same sex and ethnically diverse marriages and believe that there is no more beautiful expression of devotion than two people who love each other and wish to express their vows to honor the covenant of marriage.
I am blessed to do what I love and love what I do which feeds my soul and gives me a chance to educate and support others in their personal journeys. I truly believe that my hands and my spirit were meant to heal and have been guided to support and empower others to Embrace Their Moxie and create connections and lasting experiences.
